 RESERVATIONS – PAYMENTS – CANCELLATIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES
1 – RESERVATIONS/DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS:
Reservations should be made a minimum of 45 days prior to departure. A deposit of $150.00 per passenger is due within 10 days of tour confirmation by Star Tours. If deposit is not received the reservation will be automatically canceled.
If reservation is made 30 days or less, prior to departure, full payment is required.
Payment should be made by check or credit cards.
2- BOOKING CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:
Booking changes received after tour confirmation are subject to a $100.00 fee .
No changes are permitted after documents have been issued.
A $100.00 per person handling/administration fee will be assessed for cancellation received up to 45 days prior to tour’s departure.
For cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure, the following fees will apply:
- 45 days and plus $50.00 per person
- 30 days to 44 days $150.00 per person
- 15 to 29 days $250.00 per person
* 14 days or less, 50% plus any hotel and land operator’s penalty charges.
3- REFUNDS:
Application for refund must be submitted in writing to Star Tours within 30 days of tour termination.
No refunds are paid for any unused portions of the tour if passengers amend or delete any arrangements during travel. No refunds will be made for occasional missed meals or sightseeing tours.
4- DOCUMENTS:
Final documents will be issued after full payment is received in our office and the amount has been credited to Star Tours bank account.
All passengers require a valid Passport. If Visa is required, is the sole responsibility of the passenger to obtain it.
Each country’s visa requirements vary for non-US and US citizens, we recommend to consult with the respective country’s embassy and/or consulate.
5- AIR TRANSPORTATION:
International and domestic air tickets are not included in the tour price, however, it can be arranged by Star Tours at the best price available at the time of booking the tour.
6- BAGGAGE:
Free airline baggage allowance is two pieces per person, with combined maximum linear dimmensions (length-width-depth) of 62”. Neither piece should exceed 50 pounds.
7- TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Star Tours strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance covering medical expenses, emergency assistance, baggage claim and trip cancellation or delay.
8- RESPONSABILITIES:
STAR TOURS, its affiliates and cooperating airlines and agencies act only as Agents in matters of Transportation and tour operation, and shall not be liable for any injury, damage, delay, mishap, inconvenience, accidents or irregularity of any kind whatsoever resulting entirely or in part for the default of others or form causes beyond our control STAR TOURS, and its Land Operators are not liable for loses or additional expenses due to changes or unforeseen delays caused by weather, forces of nature, theft, political dispute, acts of terrorism, strikes, sickness, failure of flight or other transportation to arrive or depart on time, and other causes beyond our control.
9- ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
Passengers are hereby notified that during the expedition, mountain trip, cruise or other type of trip in which they will be participating certain risks and dangers may arise, including, but not limited to, hazards of traveling in desert, unpredictable sea or river condition, high altitude, mountainous terrain, travel by aircraft, canoe, boat, train, automobile or other means of transport, forces of nature terrorism and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities.
STAR TOURS and its Agents, will have no liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. Passengers accept that they are voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the possible dangers involved and agree to accept any and all risks including injury and/or possible death. As lawful consideration for the Agreement with STAR TOURS to participate in such trips and activities, trip participants agree that they will not make a claim against STAR TOURS or sue for bodily injury, emotional trauma, death and/or property damage whatsoever.
Trip participants release and discharge STAR TOURS and its Agents and employees from all claims, actions and demands of any nature arising from participation in the tour or expedition.
I received, read and accept the conditions of the Tour Information sections, cancellations clause and The Responsibilities and Conditions paragraph, and further understand and agree that the trip I am taking may have risks and that I therefore assume all risks involved with regard to this Trip and agree that STAR TOURS and its Agents will not be responsible for any injury or damage to me. |
