NAZCA LINES – PARACAS & BALLESTAS ISLANDS

3DAYS/2 NIGHTS

Day 1			LIMA – NAZCA Arrival in Lima, transfer from the airport or hotel to the bus station for your ride to Ica. (308Km/191 miles south of Lima) Upon arrival, transfer by private car to Nazca. Afternoon visit to the main city attractions.



Day 2			NAZCA Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure for your flight over the mysterious Nazca lines, which is the only way to observe them. The constructions of the lines, involved no technology more complex than that which was available to the native Indians of Peru’s southern coast. You will see gigantic geometrical lines resembling a landing field and over 32 figures including a monkey, spider, condor, reptile, fish, bird, etc. Lunch included. Transfer to Paracas.



Day 3			PARACAS – LIMA Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning cruise to the Ballestas islands. The Paracas peninsula located 235 Km. south of Lima, is the most Important coastal formation in Peru. The Paracas national Reserve Is the first marine conservation center of the country and one of the most important in the world. Established in 1975, it covers a total area of 335,000ha. From which 117,406 are on land and 217,594 are in the ocean. With beautiful beaches, ideal weather and impressive scenery it is a place that can be visited all year around. The abundance of marine fauna-birds, fish and sea mammals – found in the Reserve attracts visitors and ecologist who are amazed by the profusion of sea life. Peculiar rocky formations and geological stratus have made the area the object of many studies of origin of the Planet. Return to Lima.
